When launching their first first new product in over a decade Delkim turned to beach marketing to help with their online product launch, website and video campaigns.
Delkim are market leaders in their field producing the best quality bite indication systems in the world for over 30 years. The digital update represents almost 10 years of research and development so it was vital to get right.
Challenge
You can't control social media
After engaging beach to develop their website we were also asked to look at their social marketing strategy too. Social Media is a major part of Delkim's marketing strategy and they have developed strong support on Facebook and YouTube. Despite the loyal fan base they had seen a decline in support for the new products since the initial launch with approval ratings falling to just 50/50 for and against.
Mobilise the faithful
To counter the negative sentiment we needed to mobilise the faithful by producing the assets and information they needed to promote the brand on our behalf. We centred the activity around an online video campaign focusing peoples attention on the new look, range of features and product benefits the products offered. The video was planned, shot and edited by beach marketing and supported the website launch which gave fans another reason to shout!
By engaging long term supporters of the brand we delivered a huge return in market sentiment and averted a boarder line disaster into massive success with a 90% approval rating in just a few days.
